Clutch control

I’m reading about the “clutch tamer”,  apparently they place a cylinder on your peddle or linkage that is adjustable, to remove stress from clutch cars.  Had anyone utilized or know someone that’s used one? Maybe it could help me keep my top loader alive.

Those seem like mickey mouse "crutches" to me. Regular clutches are not designed to be slipped, proper slipper style sintered iron clutches are readily available, and are designed for controlled and adjustable amounts of clutch slippage. Using the wrong clutch, and trying to bandaid a bad choice seems counterproductive to just using the correct components to start with.

Great perspective, I keep kicking the can down the road on a proper transmission.  If I’m being honest I have a goal to drive to the track, run a 9.99 then drive home. As awesome as a Top loader is, I’m probably going to break it.  I appreciate your advice, and it is just a bandaid
