The question is as follows...Will a '66 '67 galaxie FE toploader fit (specifically the shifter location
) in a '63 '64 Galaxie with console?

What tailhousing is on the 66/67 transmission? I am pretty sure the 64-67 Galaxie tailhousings have the same shifter bolt pattern.

I have a 66 BI/O that came out of a 7liter console and fit perfectly in my 63 gal bench seat, so as long as it came from a galaxie and has the long tail shaft I'd say yes. I couldn't say about the short tail toploaders.
