BSA B33
« on: October 30, 2023, 10:18:20 AM »
My friend Ivo that i sold a Royal Enfield to wanted more old motorcycles.
So i pulled some strings and hunted down a -54 BSA B33 500
So yesterday we went up the river and brought it home.
Previous owner bought it in 71 tore it down but never had time
to rebuild it...sounds familiar.

A dissasembled MC dont take up much space compared to a car ???
As far as i can see the only thing missing is the motorplates between engine and gearbox
and he had a spare engine and gearbox in a barn that had fallendown over it so he said
he get it in the summer

About the look he going for

and I thought Harleys were the only bike that required a drip pan. I never owned British bikes, just Japanese and Italian. I'd take that one though.

Drip pan???? nooo must be fake ;D. Speaking about Harleys, i have a friend
that have a Harley Panhead Chopper. He shoved me, Look at this junk its leaking oil
and thats not even an engine or a gearbox in the frame and still a puddle
under it  :o :o :o;D ;D ;D
I grew up with British bikes. My father was a biker during the 50s and kept
all his British bikes and used to give me a ride now and then.
I dont think anything today can give me the same feeling of acceleration
and sound as when i held on to him as a 6-7 year old on his
norton dominator with megaphones
And its superslow compaired to modern bikes
But ever since im sold on the sound of a Brittish twin
