64-66 Mustang Steering Column in 64 Fairlane
«

Has anyone used a 64-66 Mustang Steering Column in a 64 Fairlane? I saw somewhere it would work, but the column would need to be shortened? if anyone has done this, can I get some pointers? Thanks

The Fairlane Club of America had several detailed technical articles about swapping a Mustang collar onto a Fairlane column to get rid of the automatic or three on the tree collar and going to a 4 speed on the floor collar.
Its only about $35 to $40 a year and many of the tech articles are online.
