"Doug, I appreciate your concerns regarding the social media platforms and rumors on  those venues. There are a couple things going on that have lead lead to the rumors of F.P.A.  Ford headers.   # 1. "Stan's Headers" in Auburn Wa. , about 20 miles from us, has in fact closed, owner retired,  and the operation liquidated by auction. Although at one time, Stan's headers did build some Ford headers for us under an exclusive contract, we ( FPA) have not had any relationship for aprox 3 years now. It's easy to see the  confusion because we both have the same first name, Stan ! So, all is well here with FPA Ford headers excluding the fact that there simply is no available labor pool to draw on and the supply chain of materials has made things more of a challenge than ever before. We are backlogged 12 + weeks currently with over 150 sets on order.
It's been 37 years now since I started F.P.A and I have been proud to serve my fellow Ford enthusiasts. It's been a dedication I've never regretted. We clearly offer some Ford header options that you can't get anywhere else. My Wife had told me that my headstone should read, ( So where you going to get your Ford Parts now ?? Feel free to share this .
All the best,

Stan   F.P.A"

Thanks for sharing. A set of these will be mounted in the 68 Cougar most likely.

Man, I am likely one of a couple that started the rumor.  I love the FPAs, but unfortunately, he still is dropping lines and not making truck headers.

If I set this in motion I apologize, but I still don't have any truck headers from FPA.  Two separate emails from Stan Johnson cut and paste below but I understood the second as a message that change was coming...

"Unfortunately, we no longer offer any Truck 4X4 headers. We had to eliminate some models as we are completely overwhelmed with work and short on materials.

Stan FPA"

"Nothing stays around forever !  We've had a long run at being the Ford Mans  Ford guy but after 37 years, the clock is ticking. Ford guys will be shocked some time when the phone no longer answers!

Stan  FPA"

That being said, I sure hope things keep busy, he stays healthy and the work flows fast and money faster!

Stan must be getting up there in age. I remember he was a decade or more older than me when i first visited his shop which i'd assume was his home, you went around back to the basement door. That was 1984 or 85. I would imagine the Seattle area is especially hard to find good employees in.

Having purchased header work (Motorcycle) from Stans Headers as well as seen FPA products in the Puget sound area, I just got a few observations.

#1 Well done Stan @ Stans Headers! Enjoy retirement and THANK YOU for supporting all the motorsport folks up in Division 6.
#2 FPA keep on TRUCKIN! Yes the state hates you for living in an area that no longer sees the benefits of a petroleum based transportation hobby.
BUT, someday they will pull their collective brain out of THAT hole. I lived near Cascade Classics in Edgewood who uses plenty of your products.
Order a Bosch Dishwasher (6 month wait).
I feel for ya on the labor pool and wouldn't wish it on ANYBODY.
