RaceWeek 2.0 trophy arrived.
« on: October 28, 2021, 02:43:34 PM »
I received my major award today and it's pretty cool. It looks kind of shop made. Cut out with a water knife or plasma cutter then riveted together. I like that, it personifies the whole attitude of the drag and drive events and adheres to my motto of "built, not bought". Since I'll not likely ever repeat this performance it really means a lot to me.   8)

So when do you get that big fat winners check?  ;D

Very cool, Alan. I suppose you'll be sticking with RMRW instead of doing the DW thing? Being much closer, I wouldn't blame you.

Sure beats one of those long leg lamps. That would go right in the center of my dining room table...that is until my wife saw it. Congrats.

Actually. I got cash on the spot! I'll see where DW is next year but probably I'll stay with RMRW. I like having the races in the afternoon/evening and it just seems a little more laid back with the smaller participant size. Next year I am going to try to get in their June event and if I do I am going to take my Galaxie and just kind of cruise the event. There were a few that doubled down and went to DW and RMRW 2.0 but that's a little much for me.
