frame off
« on: May 02, 2021, 01:46:23 AM »
Hi Im replacing the frame on my 66 Galaxie 500. I got the frint clip off but dont understand how to undue the 4 bolts  under fire wall. The  nuts on top dont offer enough grip for socket. Question is how do you get the bolts from there and all the others. Any help would be appreciated.

A guide on how to loosen bolts  :)

Seriously though, you can fight them for hours or days, or just torch them off and replace them. I would choose the latter, and save yourself the hours and hours of frustration. Just keep some water handy to douse the burning rubber isolators, which would also need replaced.

Yep. Fire Wrench

Air chisel works too, if you don't have an Oxy-Acetylene setup.
