FE Technical Forum / Re: FE Exhaust Manifolds For The F Series

I have a set of shorty 406 headers installed on our 74ish stock class pull truck, frame massage required on passenger side for header outlet... on my drag truck I bought a speedway Motors header kit 2” with 3.5” collector... it had enough bends to fit the truck, stock starter or ebay planetary mini work just fine on my truck with the 13:1 520 inch deal.

Alright no huge rush on my part... just need them for my project car. Thanks, I can give a call next week. As I’m prepping for the ford race in KY next weekend and pretty busy also lol. Just wanted to get my name on them.

If a guy had a 4.350 bore block with that crank would be a lot of fun for a open stock pulling truck with a set of high riser heads... and a 1030 three barrel carb..

Mark,

I’ll take those... how much for shipping to 54162? Thanks Cody

Thanks Alan,

I didn’t see anything in the rules about what fuel had to be used? I’m testing the truck out on methanol now and so far am liking the results.

Hmm must be full now, can’t get any of the links to work on the registration page. Anybody know something I don’t? Thanks

Ah shoot I could’ve used one of those also, oh well. Maybe next time..

Cody that is an awesome truck! Is the all Ford race at US60?

Yes it’s at us 60... anything ford powered has an open invite. Sucks this year is that it’s the same weekend as the FeRR oh well. Maybe next year.

The mistress made the highlight reel of the local videographer at private track rental at WIR Sunday, I’m finally getting the truck calmed down some and moving forward and up and not just up lol. I switched fuels also and it seems I found some more torque with the new to me 1250 dominator and now I’m still fighting a fuel delivery issue but I still almost bested my fastest ET despite running the floats bowls dry during the pass. Bigger fuel pump getting installed this week before heading to Kentucky for the all ford race September 12-14... just thought I let you guys all know I’m not dead, just busy and only lurking once in a while.

Man if I could close the shop for that week I’d take the mistress and go. Question is what class would I sign up for?

42
I’m interested... was the intake originally a 4500 or 4150 flange? Thanks

Looks good Jared, didn’t you get a set of main caps from me? Or was that a different build?

Latest video from the annual all ford race in Kentucky this year... was a fun ride. Note to self, leave the two step hooked up if you want to see the track when leaving the line lol.. haven’t had much time to play with the mistress this summer. Hopefully more time for fun next year.
