Joe:
That isn't the case up here in the DFW area. Someone had mentioned Grainger was doing something similar.

Art does a couple of manifolds with just the engineering numbers on them. None of his reproduction manifolds have FOMOCO.  He also does the C7ZX Shelby dual quad like this.

I love dealing with Fed Ex. in 20 years they have never lost a single shipment. Of course, I get a good discount being it's interline shipping.  I had a block shipped to me from the Pacific North West. Three days to my door. 262.00.
I know some of you followed my Yellow Freight Ordeal last year. JOY!

You have E-mail. The pictures should help you out. However, the engineering numbers on the castings only show two possibilities.

I have pictures I can send to you if you want to PM me an Email address. They are of the C2SE-C 406 heads. 64CC chamber.

The SE version of my heads will fit shock tower cars and any headers that will fit a 427 or 428CJ exhaust port.
Jay, would there be a notable difference in power over the Edelbrocks?

I need someone that can do the machine turning on a pistol barrel for me. That looks outstanding!

The 406 C2SE/ C3SE heads should not have a seat "cut" into the head. They use a cup like the 427 .  In they are cut into the spring seat they're not OE seats. Also something to consider is the only heads listed with cup seats was the 6V heads.

The export brace is even more critical on 67- 68 cars. They lack the tower reinforcement that the 68 1/2 CJ-69-70 vehicles have. Shelby realized the issue and there did some horrid stitch welding around the plates.  When I restored my Shelby I welded all the way around and cleaned the welds post.
I didn't see much for bolt-on frame stiffeners that didn't cause ground clearance issues. I make enough power to justify them, but I can't weld them on my vehicle.

Jay, what headers work with your heads? Will they work on a shock tower car without custom made headers?

406 heads are C2SE or C3SE. I tried to post picture earlier. I have the same spring cups as you do. The head was machined for them. from the factory. Let me see if I can convert the files so I can attach them.

I had them years ago. C2SE-6090-C They had spring seats like the 427 heads. They were off a tri-power 406. they were 64CC chambers
I hope that's helpful.

Tom- It was only used 67-70. They moved it from the rear left side pan of the vehicle to the distribution block in 1968. See the illustrations below for reference.

You may be right on the Mustang. They seem to work great on the small block cars except for certain header combinations.
