Pretty sure I have an extra set of caps. Let me look and make sure there are no issues. Do you need the bolts as well or just the caps?

Drew how about a C3AE-B early 427 Q code? I plan one of these days to get your info and send you it along with a set of BJ/BK's.

Great job Jay! We are very fortunate to have you in our corner. I'm guessing by what you have accomplished in a short time frame, blocks will be in the near future.

Very nice! Wonder if it stills exists?

I think it is a 2003 up 6.0 liter. They had the emblem in the same place as a 7.3 but it was mostly red where the 7.3 is mostly black. Hard to tell in the pic but I see more red than black on that emblem.

Ahh haven't heard of this Coupe you have and if anything like your others I'm sure it is nice. Mine is a 68.5 as well but didn't want to go to wild as it's an original paint car and would hate to ruin that having too much fun. Brent is going to fix me up with a hydraulic flat tappet so very glad I asked and appreciate y'alls input. Thanks!

So sounds like the ones I have are a no go and I need to go shopping. Brent when you get a chance throw a couple options together for me and let me know. I am interested if a custom roller would work as to what all I would need to change and the cost difference but also perfectly fine with flat tappet if need be.
Ross I assume your new 462 is going in your truck?

I do have power brakes and after cc'ing heads (73cc), and calculating cr right at 10 to 1, I thought I better get more experienced opinions. Sounds like the 292H may not be a good choice. Here is the Oregon cam specs which are closer to you Brent.

Oregon Cam: Hydraulic flat tappet, 110 Lobe separation, 236/242 @.050, 292/292 advertised, 1.73 ratio lift .569/.580, lobe center line 106 intake 114 exhaust
Springs: 110 seat and 280-300 open pressure (I have 924 springs)

Finally got my shortblock back from the machine shop for my 68 Mustang and now need to decide on the cam. It is a 428 stroked to 462 with Scat crank/rods and Probe 14791.030 pistons. It will have CJ heads/intake, matched up with close ratio toploader and 3.70 rear gears. I have on hand a Comp 292H but can't find any comparable builds for opinions. I did read in one post that you should advance it 4 degrees but did see the back story for this. I have another custom Oregon cam that wasn't designed for this application and also open for other suggestions.

Agree with Cammerfe, start with the linkage/shifter first. I had one on my 69 Mustang that was not allowing full travel and it would not hold.
