Looks like they are offering a short shaft kit to work with a FE bellhousing for the TKX now, Tremec part TCKT18210.

It was busy in the one building for about half the day, but after lunch the crowd decreased dramatically. So the decline is continuing in my opinion and I guess blame to go around. You have to support things you want to last, but with the prices you see there for most items, the lure of finding that part you need at a reasonable price is long gone. There are a few vendors that you can still get a decent deal from and we always seem to find something we want. But my expectations aren't too high for the decline to halt anytime soon.

Easy decision. Plus the value and awe factor it adds to the car.

Mark it looks like a factory 70 Mustang or Torino to me.

Awesome job!

There was a similar one listed last November in Cincy, but for only $4500. It appeared they had used Fairlane/Torino fastback metal on it that was red and white, so may not be the same one. I have to admit the one last year looked pretty good. Not sure what the custom interior would cost to finish it out, though.

Rory, can't make it to the reunion but would take the carbs and heads if we could work out something. What route do you take to get to the FE Reunion?

Jay, what are these 80-110 ohm plug wires?

Anywhere from $50-100+ depending on the date. With the pointer should be in the higher of that range.

Brian there were 428 service blocks that didn't have any scratches on the rear bulkhead. But I was thinking they were later than 71 and also thought they had the triple webbing. What water passages does it have in the head decks? The 4.13" cores have a full triangle shape.
Definitely do some more checking on it as many 390's were punched out to 428 in the early days, by unfamiliar builders.
