i have a 66 hardtop fairlane that was a 390 c6 car i am changing to a bullnose toploader will my c6 crossmember work? mine is offset at the gearbox mount point i would also like if some one could tell me dose the the step face forward or to the back.

I am looking for some one who has a pair of New Cometic H2206SPU036S 4.360 bore 0.036 compressed thickness In stock and is willing to ship them to Australia. I am trying to get a set fast.

Hi all I am still pretty new to this forum and people on here have been very helpful with question's

around 2 years ago now i imported my 1966 fairlane hardtop to Australia. It was a 390 4b c6 car drum brakes all round.
First thing done was changing the brakes. I use Australia xf front brakes and stub axles and the steering tie rods to new Australia Xr falcon ones along with a remote brake booster mounted on the left hand side inner Wheel well.

That gave me vented front discs car was then lowered front and rear quite abit from stock diff was narrowed to fit 10/15 with 265 50 bf goodrich rubber and 8/15 225 50 fronts
fiberglass hood came shortly after that it did get it painted blue but i have lost the photo's of that.

Overall car looked pretty solid some slight bubbling of paint around the rear wheel well along with stress cracks at the top of the rear quarters and start of the C pillar.

I am looking for some info on if i need to look at a vacuum pump or if just a vacuum tank may work for my power brakes. Engine is 482 bbm 8v intake i have 2 camshafts first one is 288 294 258 264 .696 .696 110° i dont have the specs of the second camshaft on hand but it is has more lift 700+ but the rest of the specs are really close to the same.

Id like to know what needs to be changed to fit a c4 in a 66/67 fairlane and if you have a factory auto console and shifter.

I have oil in my water. I have owned my 390 fairlane for little over 2 years now when i bought the car i flushed most of the antifreeze out and replaced it with premixed coolant. That was about 18 months ago. There is no water in my sump there has never been water in my sump but my water is milky/black and thick with what looks like engine oil. i'm not sure if it is a reaction with the coolant i used and what was left of the antifreeze or something else its got me stumped.
can oil get into an fe water jacket with out water going into the oil/sump.
 

Like to know Peoples thoughts and experiences on duel carb Throttle Linkage set ups Progressive and 1 to 1 ratio's

What is a good size carbs for a 482ci engine and a good place to buy a custom pair for my build.
I would like to run a mechanical fuel pump as well.
I am running bbm cnc heads bbm 2x4 tunnel wedge intake 700 lift solid roller cam 10.5 compression ratio.
