Any hard core racers here using the 7AL-3 ?
I just got a brand new one in the box in a trade.  Had planed on selling it but the more I look at it I'm thinking ll keep it. I'm liking the feature's and think I'll retire y old MSD. This one will let me do away with a few external boxes and clean up things. Just wondering.

2-sets, 32 springs and 32 spring to lifter bushings, flat tappet . old PSE. At-least one set looks to never had been used and the other very minimal if at all, maybe just mocked up.
Also found the spring bars and hardware.
$ 200.00 for all +. free ride in the 48.

FE Technical Forum / Screw in freeze out plug removal

Ok guys, any tips, tricks, curse words, that I can use to get these steel plugs out of this pond aluminum block . ? Heat got two out but 4 don't want to budge. I'm about ready to just drill and cut them out since I'll be replacing them anyway. The block needs a good bit of welding and repairs so I need to have it completely stripped down. Already got the sleeve's out.

So the big "speed shop guys" say the Holley 3 circuit 4500 1050 Dominator #0-9375-1 are the recommended carbs for duel Dominator/ racing tunnel ram, or fab manifold.
Are these the best ones to start with ? 
Should I be thinking 4150's instead  ?

Before I go through the trouble of making my own I figured I'd see if anyone could guide me to a source.
I need ,
6 - 5/16" x 24 x 1" long "button head" (preferred) or hex head with hex bolts.
Here's the thing though, I need either hex or square nub on the thread end. Something to get a wrench or socket on and be able to turn it from that end.  I would have sworn I had seen like body panel bolts like this in the past. The only body panel bolts I can find though just have the smooth round end on the thread end. I'm not really looking for body panel bolts but they would work as long as they had the hex or square nub on the end. I'd like to have a decent quality bolt, grade 8 preferred but a 5 would do.

I'm wondering if anyone here has ever built an all out nitrous FE. Or possibly knows of any links to such a thing. I'm talking 3 to 4 hundred + shot, single or multiple stage setup foggers or plate/fogger combo's.
Sorry if NOS is a bad word around here but I'm interested.

I was totally surprised to find out MSD does not make the FE crank trigger any longer. I was looking for one for a friends engine. I'll be using the innovators west setup on mine and could sell him my old MSD setup but I had planned to hold on to it. What are you guys using for a crank trigger now ? Just any 7" wheel ? BB ford or cbevy coughcough uggh.. The pickup mount is no issue cause its easy enough to fab something up.
Wtf would MSD discontinue the FE setup, ?
