I have read on another forum where someone changed the flat transducer to curved for cylinders and rendered the transducer useless.  I hope Jay jumps in here with more information.

Non-FE Discussion Forum / Re: New Members - Introduce Yourselves Here!

Just a quick note to introduce myself.  In 1976 when I was 16 my dad gave me my first car (he did this for all 3 of "his boys").  We had always been a Ford family, so of course I got a Ford.  A 1964 Ford Galaxie 500 XL in Pagoda Green with a 352, automatic, A/C and power steering.  Although dad is gone (the first person that put a wrench in my hand and I still miss him), I still have that car today.

After marriage, other issues took priority and the car sat outside neglected for years.  I even had a few people stop by and try to buy the car.  We later moved to a house with a garage and about 12 years ago I began to restore the old Galaxie.  It took me about 2 years but I got it all done.  Freshened up the engine, yeah I did that work.  Redo the interior, yeah I did that with a kit from Melvin's Classic Ford Parts (I can't sew!)  Paint, yeah I did that also (I'm cheap like that, ask my wife).

I've been lurking since this forum opened up but decided to join today.  The site looks great Jay.
