Need to find these guys a new home.

Block is standard bore, has been stripped and baked/tumbled.  Ready for machine work.  Comes with factory main fasteners.  Sorry, no cam bearings.  ;)

Heads are bare and have been soda blasted.  They are "C" heads.  Great shape.

Asking $450 for the block (can finish machine upon request) and $350 for the cylinder heads.

FE Technical Forum / Trick Flow FE head preliminary observations....
« on: February 16, 2018, 12:38:24 PM »
I've had my heads here for the past few weeks but haven't had a time to really mess with them.  The day they came in I poured a chamber and an intake port.  They measured 69.8cc and 169.8cc respectively.  Poured the chamber with an Autolite 3924 plug.

Had them on an SF600 today with a Brzezinski 1206G entry plate with a little clay to transition it.  4.155" bore.  Exhaust was flowed with no pipe.

.1  96  66
.2  159  120
.3  233  164
.4  283  197
.5  317  215
.6  333  220

I noted the same observation as Blair....intake port started to go turbulent and there was an obvious sound change headed into .600" on the intake side.

I will stick them on a 390, but it will be a bit.  At this point, I must say, that I'm impressed as this is not what I'm used to seeing with Trick Flow parts.   Normally, they flow advertised numbers with the spark plug out....  I will eat a little crow on this one.

A few other notes:

Nice shape chamber with a nice blend on the spark plug hole.  Chambers are a little small in comparison to what we're usually seeing with Barry's heads, BBMs, Edelbrocks, etc.  For a guy with pistons setup for a 74-75cc chamber, there will be a significant compression bump if these heads are used.

I would be interested in buying these bare from here on out, if I choose to use them for builds, so I can have control over the valve spring/retainer package.

Pictures are on my Instagram...... ;)

Vendor Classifieds / D1ZX-9425-FA Dominator intake for sale....SOLD
« on: December 16, 2017, 09:40:07 AM »
Got one for sale. Very nice piece, has had clover leaf cut out of the plenum and carb flange touch-milled. No chipped or broken parts.

Asking $750 for it, or will do it and a custom Holley Dominator carb together for $1250. The carb has skirted boosters and is modified for smaller engines. It was the carburetor that was used on my 354C that made 615 hp @ 8000 rpm.  Carb currently sitting at 900 cfm.

Will sell carb separately.
