Hello all,
 My name is Nathan Reed and I am located in central KY. I am working on a 1964 Galaxie. So far I have added a 428 Cobra Jet and a top loader 4speed. It has a P.I. intake, 735cfm CJ Holley and FPA tri-y headers. I am going through the mechanicals first then I hope to start on interior. Long road ahead! 
Anyway, love the site and enjoy all things FE!

Your best bet is a new flywheel from Ford racing. With an online code for 5% off and free shipping from CJ pony parts it comes to $273. That is what I ended up doing. Everyone wants 175 to 200 for a crusty old 428 flywheel that then needs surfaced, so its cheaper to get a new billet one. It ac.cepts both clutch sizes. Part # ends in p428

Private Classifieds / WTB cast iron shorty exhaust

Anyone have a set of decent cast iron shorties for a reasonable price? I need to locate a set or I will need to go the FPA tri Y route. I would rather have the Original ford stuff, but a set of repops would be ok.

I would also consider a set of 427 cast irons but I fear they may stretch my budget too much.
