Doug it was a fake website using a legitimate dealer's name.. When you call the number you are put in contact with the scammer..The cars on the site were all pulled from other ads. Prices were attractive..They provided a copy of the title and vin of the car they were advertising. I received a very official bill of sale with electronic signature of the real owner of the business. Next step would have been to wire the money.
3 red flags Sales person did not have a Kentucky accent lol.. They really wanted to get the deal done quickly, and the one thing that caused me to dig deeper was the offer of free delivery withing 1000 miles Who does that.... Checking the background you get info on the legitimate dealer so everything looks OK...Thank god Greg had someone actually put eyes on the place and uncover the scam... The ads are still up on Facebook
