I’d run it at 5 lbs you should be good for a street car , I wouldn’t beat on it much. I assume you have a stout bottom end , cross bolt , forged crank ? I run a boss 540 ,14-71 on e85 on the street and m5 at the track . Like you’ve read test test test !!! See how consistent it is per fuel up. Up here in Nd they start switching over to summer blend in april still 2.29 gal at cum and go Very consistent.

Well finally on my two weeks off, long hitch. I want to thank everyone for there input. Hope everyone had a happy & safe Xmas . On the manifold is there snuff room to mount my efi injectors on ports , maybe have to mill side of blower mount? As for the coolant fittings on the small side I could drill & tap the rear passages and pull coolant out there to not just let it pool in the rear of engine . Cool in front hot in back saw it done on some roundy round cars. As for bust panel has to be sfi per class rules , so will have to mount and weld spacer for it

Well it gets lonely up here in the oil patch , what you don’t have a gumare ? Lol  no no no been with the same women for 15 years up here . No tepe creeping for me. So no pics of a front motor plate ? We ant to do it rite the first time not pull threads all out of a $7k block . That’s wye I asked about how thick the timing cover backplate is, maybe weld some ears to it . Any ideals are welcome.

Ya that’s a lot better than what I was thinking. Then it dawned on me about the burst panel , weld a 2” spacer to the top and mill in the front for the mount if there is room for it don’t like the spring type ones. Then I can put the efi injector mixing pot on the back and run lines to the runners. Have to see how high the blower will be out of hood . Don’t want it sticking out like they do with those adaptors on reg or cutting up a tunnel ram looks like crap, it’s just me. Oh ya this will be going in to a 64 fairlane tube chassis car. A few weeks ago ran a cross web site for a guy out in Maryland that makes fiberglass body’s .saw that and instant chubby lol . Just want to build some thing different pro street/ drag week . I’ve been running 385 series engines since early 80s time for something new. This is still 5 years away have to start on girlfriend/ wife’s 64 falcon chassis car big fe on the hose

Ya I wasn’t sure on manifold for water , but that’s a lot better than having to pull it out back of heads. Now just have to find one , with him not making any more . As for burst panel I’ll have to see if I can pick up a mount from McAmis and fab it into the back of manifold above the runners. Then fab up a fork style chimney . One on each side of blower. I plan on running dominator efi with msd pro 600 I’ll just have make up some brackets for coils and mount them to the blower mount studs. The ones you made up are sweet . As for bore size that’s what I was thinking about 4.375 just wasn’t sure with only having little over 1/4” between bores, that’s why I was thinking offset boring to get a little more space. To bad Shelby didn’t make a compacted graffite block. I’m new to the sohc so any help is nice. One more thing? How thick is timing cover back plate ? Need to figure out a front motor plate and a crank support if possible. Pics of some ? 40 % od is a lot with nothing on front.

Need info for a new build .  #1 blower manifold does the Munro manifold have provisions for a burst panel and water outlet ? I’ve only seen a side shot of one   #2. If no water outlet can water be taken out of back of heads ?  # 3  looking for 526 cid is there enough meat in between with offset boring at 3.375 or 4.44
