Looking at cams for a 428 in a 4wd pickup, it sees towing and mostly highway use.
Called comp cams and they recommended K33-422-11.
9.5 comp, streetmaster intake, C4AE-G heads w/ C J valves, headers, manual trans.
Want torque and efficiency. was thinking a small roller.
Input would be great,
Thanks for the help.

Finding mixed info on 1UB crankshafts. Have one that is std/std, stored for quite a while.
Question is,
Were they for 428 CJ or luck of the draw in standard engines or?
Thanks in advance,
LF

FE Technical Forum / Re: Trick Flow heads....

Howdy guys,
I asked about wear pattern a few weeks back and got the answers I needed,
but this has been extremely informative. Looked at the new Blue Thunder heads
I have to see if they had room to machine and it appears they do. Do the Edelbrock
heads have room to machine or do the stands still need to be machined on them also
or is this a case by case thing?
Thanks

Howdy,
Looks like the next swap meet I'll be looking for some stands to cut down
so I can do this right.
Thanks for the replies,
Larry
