There are different pinion yoke lengths.   Is it the same as before?   Put it on jackstands
And in neutral and rotate drive shaft to see if there is any runout on the tube?

I just had a 600 Holley go dead rich and first thought was needle and seat o rings, changed them out (they were in bad shape) and still rich.   New power valve brought it back around

Can a hydraulic roller be reliable in the 6500-7000 range.  ?    Existing combo wants to run to 6500 with a flat tappet and want to duplicate that without fear of cam failure.  I really don’t mind a solid flat tappet if it can be made reliable with today’s offerings

In a mild street build with a pressure fed block, where is the line drawn between hydraulic roller and solid roller?   I don’t mind the noise or the inconvenience of rocker adjustments.   And then what is the opinions of roller bearing lifter or bushing roller?

A low battery will definitely cause a ford solenoid to stick in start mode.   It arcs the contacts inside and micro welds it to gather.   You can whack it with something and it’ll go back to normal,,,,,,,for a while

Jay, is this going to be a one run of castings and done, or is this going to be something that you are going to be offering on a somewhat regular basis as demand permits?

If the coil says it’s compatible with 12v, then they are supposed to have a resistor built into them    I have run a resistor with a coil that says 12v compatible before with no ill effects.  Spark voltage may suffer.  Condenser quality isn’t what it was a few yrs ago    I have mounted larger ones outside of the distributor before on problem applications

I, personally, would rather to have a set with better exhaust flow and give up some factory appearance as long as traditional exhaust will bolt up.   Most people don’t know exactly what the exhaust side of the head would look like and in a shock tower car the exhaust side doesn’t really stand out.  Can’t see much of that side once in the car.  And thank you for doing these.

I feel that if you were to run the bolt in there and it will torque to spec, then I wouldn’t hesitate to run it as is, if it won’t hold then helicoil it and run with it

I use a gooloo. Not sure of the size.  Usually on sale for $99.   It has started everything I put it on so far. 300hp diesel John Deere.    500 Cummins  in a truck.  Etc.  I’ve got a smaller one that I keep in the pickup truck.   They are amazing as to the power they have.

I believe this fmx application is correct.    I have only seen one in person in my life.   I have not specifically searched for it but I have spent plenty of time in junkyards and we had a fleet of trucks with 351m/400s in them.  We used to mud race a 400 with 4bbl Cleveland top end on it and sprayed a 200 shot on top of that.   Never had any probs but had limiter set to 6500
