We are going to the reunion , if someone as a used 2x4 air filter with the badge on top and a caltracs setup for 1963 galaxie I would be

Member Projects / 1963 galaxie motor mount brackets

Need help. tried to put my fe in today and somebody modify the frame brackets for the motor mounts. Picture and some mesurement would help me a lot. I have a 1960 frame in back of the shop but I don t know if it is the same brackets . If they are the same Iwill take them off and use those on my frame.

Install piston tonight, they are .011 down and I have 1020gasket ,they hare.041 thick so .051 of
Quench . Is it ok ,or should order gasket that are thinner to get closer to .40.

I was gapping my rings yesterday and notice a shadow on top of the cylinder wall,I can catch my fingernail on it.

Check main and rod clearance last night I have .002 on main and .003 to.0035 on rods
I will get a set of rod bearing to go down to.0025. the question is ,should Igo up to.0025 or stay at .002.on main.
It is a scat rotating kit .The car is mostly street driven.
