FE Technical Forum / ARP lube, anti seize, loctite

So we all often times replace 50 year old hardware with new ARP hardware when building/assembling these engines with new parts and pieces. I tend to always follow ARP's instalation and torque recommendations however they are often contradictory to the recommendations of said parts such as (but not limited to) dampers, timing sets, etc wich mostly always say to use loctite. ARP spec always wants there lube used..
How about bolts going into aluminum (block) threads such as cam retainer plate, oil pump, or just general hardware for timing covers and such?

So I'm not on face book, almost signed up a couple times but didnt. My nephew is though and he knows my interest. He pulls out his phone and said check this out, someone has some SOHC stuff for sale cheap on one of the fe sites. He shows me the the add and picts and I'm like wtf, that was my shit , the guy was useing the same picts I took and used to sell the stuff back in 18. Nephew left a comment saying they were stolen picts and a fake add and within minutes the profile and add disappeared. So I'm just scrolling through on his phone looking at other stuff in the fe group and I'll be dam if I didnt come across another profile with a pict of mine from when I sold some old style pond block main caps back in 19. Not done yet, farther down was another pict of the PSE rev kit that I took back in 18.. They didn't even change the wording on the ads and were asking the same prices that I had..
That's some messed up shit there..

Matched Pair of pro systems 1050 dominators, list 6464, (old pro stock) 3 circuit carbs for dual carb setup. Came off a running and raced 598 BB ford, A460 heads, trickflow tunnel ram, 2 kits. PDRA top sportsman car. Went to fuel injection. Had planned to use on my big inch FE but going another direction.

1. - NOS/ Hays mark 12 clutch, old style super stock/pro street type clutch. 2250lb static . Been in box on shelf. Never been bolted up . $300 obo + the ride.
2. - NOS Hays mark 12 clutch, old style super stock/pro street type clutch. Been setting on shelf un boxed. Has been taken apart and cleaned up, spring pressure's checked and re assembled. 2250lb static $200 obo + the ride.
These are very good non adjustable justable clutches for a pro street/bracket race type car. Use 11" clutch disk, fits Hays 12 bolt flywheel or 6 bolt long style pattern. Perfect for a crash box/ top loader/or Jerico type trans.
3. - Hays mark 12 fully adjustable race clutch. Adjustable base pressure, centrifugal pressure and t/b air gap fine adjustment. Replaceable steel (or other) insert. Use 11" clutch disk. Nice clutch, my spare. $450.00 + the ride.
