FE Technical Forum / Speedmaster 427 block
« on: August 28, 2021, 10:56:58 PM »
Any of our pros hear of a new Speedmaster 427 block that is almost a dead ringer for a BBM? Pictures got posted on FB earlier today and are now gone, but supposedly the price is $2400. Didn’t see the Speedmaster that was supposedly cast on the block but there were visual differences from BBM… is a $1600 discount worth the risk of a Speedmaster block?

Private Classifieds / Billet 9” single disc race clutch
« on: April 29, 2019, 10:50:24 PM »
Like the title says, it’s a full billet single disc drag race clutch with billet flywheel. Came from behind an 800hp high riser in a Thunderbolt with a Jerico. I’ve been told it was built by former Pro Stock racer Tom Huggins. Great condition and still serviceable. Comparable clutch today would be $3k or more new.

$1500

Just an FYI, if any of you guys on the west coast are interested we are having a SOHC 427 get together on April 17th. It will be held in conjunction with the Fabulous Fords Forever show at Knott's. We have over 20 cammer powered cars registred and quite a few special guests who will be in attendance. Health permitting we'll have Gas Ronda there, along with his last Funny Car which was recently restored. Hope to see some of you guys there.

Private Classifieds / Ed heads, Shortys, CJ Carb

Cleaning out a few more things I don't see my self needing anytime soon.

Edelbrock FE heads. They were on an engine that was built but never fired, and are in like new condition. Guessing they are part number 60069 because it was a mild engine with a hydraulic cam.
$1400.00

Shorty Cast Iron Headers. One flange has been repaired, no other cracks. The bosses on the sides have been smoothed off, so they were probably in a hotrod at some time. Other than that they are in good condition and came off of a running engine.
$500.00

C9AF-U List 4609 CJ service carburetor. Completely rebuilt, all steel parts re-plated, still sealed in the bag from the restorer. Missing the choke cover, but other than that it is ready to bolt on and go. Restored by a professional carb shop.
SOLD

Email for pictures.
