Do you think they will remain 30, or need to go more.  I don't need anything but block and caps.  Idea on price?  Thanks!  Jack

Not sure Jack . If I remember cylinders looked good. But that. Doesn’t mean anything. Would need to be disassembled and measured.

I have two that are both currently .030 over. Both still assembled short blocks. Worcester, MA.

Had a fairly new 6al digital box go bad recently. Began by running funny and then a no start condition. Replaced it with an older one and I am currently waiting for MSD to repair the new one. There is also a sequence to view what the red led light is doing when you turn the key- which can point you into a general direction of what may be bad.

Nice! The third gear wheelie is an added bonus.

Looks great Dennis!  Hope to see you at beaver.

We will be there Larry. I have heard that you are going as well? Hoping for good weather.

I'm diggin' the wagon!  8)  What have you done with the suspension? It looks to be getting good weight transfer.

Thanks. Suspension is stock set up with upgrades - good shocks on front and back and I made solid upper and lower arms for rear. The shocks helped quite a bit.

Attached is video link for my best pass in my 67 Country Squire. The car has a Lykins built 390, 4 speed toploader, 4.70 9" rear. It is in stock street trim with all the interior (including the 3rd seat). Weighs 4,640 with me sitting in drivers seat.

This is my best pass yet . 12.91 with a 1.71 60'. I have been playing with the launch RPM and this pass it was launched at 4,300 rpms. During this day I was fighting some weird high rpm misfire which I have since resolved and hope to get a better number soon.

The link below contains the pass which was at Lebanon Valley Speed Way in NY, during Hemmings Musclepalooza

You and Dennis are waving the high-rpm hydraulic roller banner for me very well.

Why would you suggest that? I short shift that 390 almost every pass........................... :) :) :) :) :)

that was a good pass Jim. Given the 90* hot and humid weather that night - Id bet there is more to go with that car. Was a great time.

Great run Jim.

the only thing I can offer is to make sure all your flat surfaces are actually flat when you reassemble. Things like the acc. pump housing, over the years have been overtightened and have become warped. I usually stick a few pieces of 220 DA paper to some flat glass and run all the surfaces over the paper. You will clearly see by the color of the surface how far out each surface is. Make sure you have the correct length fasteners and don't overtighten them.

There are a few good you tube videos on rebuilding the 4100 - it's a pretty easy carb.

good luck
