Did some  FE's come with a oil galley air bleeding valve that looks like an oil galley plug/cap with a jiggle valve in it  ? What years ?

I am looking for a Sanden A/C compressor mounting bracket for use under the factory mounting points for a Ford alternator (low passenger side) an internet search or two has not turned up anything.

The fasteners  are held in by friction and the strength of the concrete, 5" of 4000 psi concrete is all that is needed 30" is  not necessary also drilling through the floor to dirt is not how  carbon steel expansion anchors are installed correctly reading the directions for this type of installation should be done. If installed correctly and torqued properly Hilti brand wedge anchors will not need to be retorqued this has been my experience over the past 24 years for my lift and from having installed thousands of this type of anchor. IIRC only 1/2" to 3/4" of the anchor should be above the top of the nut any more and you don't  have the rated holding power of the anchor.

FE Technical Forum / Re: 390 Ribbed block
« on: August 17, 2023, 09:49:42 PM »
This rebuilder was in Oklahoma city, Oklahoma. The year number was slightly ground on and unreadable. It was a fancy tag aluminum with two drilled holes in the block and two fastners like the ones used on the underside of a FE intake to hold the oil splash pan on. We removed  the fastners to remove the tag and oil was coming out of the holes at a very fast rate. This was on the passenger side of the block.

I came across a Ford remanufactured engine with a rivited tag and a C3AZ part number installed in a 66 Tbird with bearing and bore info stamped on the tag it is a ribbed block it has a date but the year is not readable and I cant find a  block casting number it came with a D0 stamped starter any ideas ?

Ross, how much different would the results have been with this combination and a single carb ?

The Moroso ceramic seal sounds like sodium silicate also known as liquid glass.

Try a bit more clarity about exactly what you want, your saying a few different things that do not add up to any one.
