i forgot to add that the car felt like a little bit of a shake . like you were saying.  i thought low tire also.  motor would turn 1/2 turn and that was it.   just thinking if it maybe bound up timing gears enough to break front of crank.   just me thinking too much.   i definitely feel your pain.

after reading this post.  i have a question.  probably not related but how did the cam look?   I have had one of those break and lock everything up just doing a burnout at the strip.   it was like the key was turned off.

all these axle companies make just good stuff anymore as far as I am  concerned.  if you have the extra money I would get your axles gun drilled and free up some weight and rotating weight.  jmo

A guy I used to hang out with has them made for the fe and sells on ebay. they are a nice piece and he has them made for automatic and or 4 speed cars.  just look on ebay.   he still sells them on their.  they bolt into the factory mounting holes on your car.  no guessing at all.

I live in north Dakota and I have seen this ad posted locally for at least a year.   with all the good stuff that's listed I don't know how or why it is even still for sale.  I did notice that the seller phone number is out of Colorado,  for what that's worth
