Nice Ross love the torque. If I’m reading it right not a very big cam for a 511. 5900 RPM should be pretty indestructable

Yes drop idler and tie rod ends and slide over. And definetly crossmember

Yes unfortunately my motor has been out multiple times in the last 3 years. And yes it goes in complete with hooker super comps. If it wasn’t for the steering box it would slip right in. But with a little finagling it goes right in c6 and all. I jack it up about a foot off the ground. Take off the steering. Ross is who showed this.

I have the same thing I’ve been slacking but I’m gonna richen up to idle bleed by making them smaller. I recently went down on jets and now have this problem. When it was jetted higher it was fine. No hesitations on tip in but at steady 22-2500 like little surges.

Doug the guy I was with is a popular car called the champagne express (google it). They went through his whole car belts, flywheel, damper but he is up to date with everything. Don’t get me wrong we all want to be safe but I’ve only used those belts like 25 times they look brand new. I get it everyone wants to make money.

Some tracks are stricter than others. Lebanon valley last week called me on the belts being a couple of months over. He never even looked at the helmet. Just don’t want to be put in that position. Then after I bought belts at the track( not the ones I wanted) it rained.

I have a sa 2015 helmet now. Just wondering if is still good. I just upgraded my belts and was wondering if the helmet was out of date. Thanks for the reply.

Those TFSs seem to be working well. Seems 600 plus horse is the norm.

Are SA 2015 helmets still in certification. Looking at helmets they are selling SA2020 which if I’m correct is already 6 years old?

I run drag radials. They will be prepping one lane for drag radials and one for slicks. I did buy a set of slicks but don’t have rims for them yet. My wife is having another surgery on Monday and yesterday the doctor called and said be ready if I call you Wednesday night for Thursday. So you don’t have to register till Thursday. I don’t think they are going to call her early though they said it’s a long shot. I have a buddy bringing a car also so it will be good to have someone else around.

So planning on going to a track rental at Lebanon valley this Friday. I usually like to get out once before the reunion to make sure every things ok. Haven’t driven it much this year only a few times back and forth to work. So the only reason why I’m posting this here is I finally got my tranny done at Broader and I’m hoping and praying this is my 60 ft problem that I’ve been complaining about. I did also put a set of the BBM B heads on the motor so I’m thinking maybe another 30 HP. Well we will see.
