FE Technical Forum / Re: Steve Morris Engines Cammer build.
« on: November 18, 2023, 08:19:20 PM »
It’s a shame he didn’t get to finish it and see if what he did works.  Now someone else has to go through it and figure out what he was trying to do.  It’s going to cost the owner a lot more to have someone else take this to a conclusion.  Also now Steve Morris has been released from any workmanship guarantee issues.

« on: April 28, 2022, 05:13:18 PM »
Nearly complete 434” engine with ‘63 406 block.  Late ‘68 Cobra Jet crank,
C5AZ 6200 F cap screw rods, +.030” JE 9.5 to 1 forged pistons, block is cross bolted with 63 406 caps.  Block was windowed on oil pan rail but expertly repaired using a section from a donor block.  Absolutely no oil or water leaks from repair. Almost invisible from the outside. 63 H 427 heads, 65 dual quad intake, complete Crower mechanical lifter cam and kit with shell lifters, Crower pushrods, Crower tool steel retainers and springs. Steel pedestal 427 rockers.  Tru roller timing chain, ‘63 427 balancer.  Truck oil pan.  Flywheel and clutch balanced assembly included.  Was removed from a ‘65 Custom sedan in November because I’m building a correct medium riser 427.  Engine runs perfectly, smooth and quiet.  No leaks other than rear main which I will replace before shipping.  I will part it out if I can’t sell it complete.  Sorry, forgot the price, asking $7,000 or offer.
All shipping costs and crating to be paid by buyer.  Engine is in Omaha, NE.  Any questions call Frank, 402-393-5252.

Waldron will only make stock size systems. I checked as I wanted a 2-1/2” headpipes and no dice.
