I just upgraded from a cruisomatic to a C6, and pulling out the old started almost killed this old man. The car is a 63 Galaxie with a 406, FPA headers, and a C6, Do you have any recommendations on starters?

I want to upgrade from cruisomaitic to C6 in my 63 Galaxie 406. A core is fine, located in Northeast GA

Running a comp cam 33-244-4 in my 406 with aluminum heads, comp recommends.022 valve lash on ex and intake. The car is street-driven, any other recommendations?

Just my 2 cents, I had a Jim Inglese on my 445 Fairlane and could not have been more pleased. First and most important Jim Inglese and his whole crew were great to deal with, everything worked as promised right out of the box.

After being scammed by a quote reputable FE guru with a Dyno Time-only cracked block motor, I located a 406 cross-bolt main and started building. Survival Motor Sports heads, Diamond 41302 pistons, comp cams 33-244-4 solid cam 244-244,540 lift. The engine is 30 over and the crank is a 1U cut 10, Harlen Sharp rocker assembly with end stands. Here is the problem after assembly by my engine guy, who is a FE guy, the valves are hitting the pistons. Double-checked everything. What am I missing??
