I have run the HD setup with end stands on a .626 lift, 256/266 @ .050 flat tappet cam for close to 30 years, it has been bullet proof. I don't race any more, but I go for many years without checking lash because every time I check nothing ever needs adjusted.

I always tell people to go to Hunter's website www.hunter.com. Then use the "contact Hunter" feature to find local reps, they will know what shops they would recommend to work on old cars.
