Non-FE Discussion Forum / replacement battery for 1963 galaxie with factory battery tray

What are you guys using for battery's that fit without modify the tray or the hold down plate ?I've tried the original looking battery with a big price and little life. I'm looking for any suggestion on this topic. 1963 galaxie 427 ci would prefer the AGM style battery but not sure if they last very long. Thanks for any ideas

 Jay you should talk to Mike Patnode his 69 Fairlane SCJ Cobra was one of the first to come off the assembly line. The exterior is still all factory original to this day. A true time capsule just the way he ordered it

 Thank you for the info.I looked it up in there catalog they only list fan shroud for 64 galaxie.I have a 63 galaxie they are different. Any other sources would be appreciated. Every where I've checked only has the shroud's for 64 galaxie's.Maybe someone has an extra one collecting dust they would part with? Thanks

 Sorry for jumping on your tread.But I also attended the galaxie show in cedar rapids 2019.It was a great show for galaxie enthusiast. I've been looking for hard to find fan shroud for 390 with air conditioning or 427 from the hot summer weather states. It's a two piece part with a top and bottom. Does anyone know of any reproduction made?

 I'm looking for a factory fan shroud for a 63 galaxie 390 with air conditioning or may have came on other FE motors with air.It's a 2 piece shroud upper and lower. It's possible 1960- 1963 are all the same?
