May have the block sold. Forged crank, LeMans rods used, set of New LeMans rods in Ford boxes and oversized bolts added, cast aluminum timing cover, NOS oil splash guard below intake manifold, NOS rocker arm stamped steel, miscellaneous FE goodies still left.

I may have the block sold locally. That would leave me a 427 forged crank that is .010/.010, one set of 427 LeMans rods and pistons, and a set of NOS LeMans rods with thicker grade 8 bolts added by Ford Power Parts. NOS set of rods in the Ford boxes.
I am open to offers on any of these items. Or offer for the whole short block with block as well.

Complete short block 427so for sale.
Block, crank, cam, LeMans rods, pistons. The engine is 10/10 and ready for a honing and go. Mag Tested in the day by the old Ford Power Parts people of Norwalk, Calif. who I purchased this from for a cammer project that did not materialize. Engine is NOT cammer set up. $4,500 OBO
The history of this engine is it was an over the counter engine used by a So. California drag racer whose name I have since forgotten. Apparently purchased around 1967.
I have tons of other FE performance parts including a set of NOS LeMans rods with upgraded rod bolts, 427 low riser heads, performance aluminum timing covers, valve covers, oil pans, etc. Sadly, it is time to unload my FE collection to the FE faithful. No trades, I need the cash.
