Early ranger heater cores were amazing, although I never owned one with air. When my 89 SHO core took a crap, I cut the outside cover with a dremel, pulled the core from the firewall engine side, put the new one in and sealed it back up with 3m seam sealer.
Alternative was to pull the dash out.

I'm with Tommy on this. With the $500 that I save, I can go to my local pub and have a burger & a beer (& a lot of them). Pub owner makes out, waitress makes out. Put a few bucks more in the collection plate on Sunday. Buy a few extra boxes of Girlscout cookies and on and on. I'd rather give my local economy a boost than piss it away to make a feel good point. Edelbrock has to adapt like everyone else. Of coarse being an OG has much to do with my attitude which is generally no shi*s given.

Can you get that SHO motor in a little Escort or something? Sleeper alert!

Leno has one in a Fiesta.

the pinion shaft that the spiders are on eggs out in the carrier housing causing that play. Most of the time, the gears are fine, you just need a new carrier. good time for a locker or spool.

Experience I had with my diaphragm was that it it wouldn't re-engage above 6k power shits until the rpms dropped. did ok with off the throttle quick shifts.

I doubt it's a T&D problem or failures would be random cylinders. IDK, maybe a valve guide or stem issue.

Randy Spohn's Falcon sure does ok.

Most fords use a resistor wire from the ignition switch to the positive side of the coil that I've had go bad. Make sure that you have the proper voltage on the coil. Also make sure the coil isn't connected backwards ( - side goes to the points). Lastly don't overlook a bad ignition switch. You can always hot wire 12v to the + side of the coil and see if that fixes the miss, but it will be hard on the points so you might want to put an old set in to try.
