I had purchased a set of Shelby from Las Vegas stage 1 ported cylinder heads with an advertised ported air flow we put them on a bench and they under performed by 45cfm the parts manager took them as a return and said he didn't blame me for making this decision.

Kevin it does have the throttle linkage bosses, two large separate bosses where the PI intake has two smaller bosses connected by a bridge but they are not drilled. Also it does not have the bosses on top of #1 and #5 runners as your pictured intake has. I always believed it had a FoMoCo cast into it but believe this was from seeing all of the others out there. Is it possible its a reproduction but if it was it was made before 1993. It also does not have the undrilled boss on #5 runner for the PCV steel tube to mount as seen on the C5AE-N. I have pics but am unable to post here.

I do have the Great Intake Comparo and remember looking it up there before. I found my intake has the oil fill tube the large thermostat opening and no vacuum ports machined but also no engineering number and only port #1 having a number 1 cast into it no other port numbers and no FoMoCo in a box.

FE Technical Forum / Aluminum Ford intake ID

I have a Ford aluminum FE intake currently bolted to a 1990's raced 428CJ engine and not sure what it could be it has a FoMoCo in a block 1/2" tall 3/4" wide cast  on the center of the passenger side of the intake each runner is numbered and there is no date or engineering number currently on it or any witness marks of these being removed. If I had to guess I believe its of the medium riser type. The part is cast of aluminum. Any ideas?

Thanks Frank for the posting the pics. I've had this trans for 30 years and i know the previous owner never used it as he was a mustang only guy. Would this not be a street friendly transmission and considered a race only setup ? How could that affect its value.

Im a 4sp guy but was not a avid drag racer so when I came across a big in big out with a parts group it went in the garage, Its  a 69 Vin stamped RUG AJ 4sp transmission that has what looks to be new gears and no brass synchronizers that were replaced with a wider steel ring that is stamped with "Liberty" is this what can be called a liberty box? I realize it's a race mostly set up and I will never be using it what could be a fair value for it.

Is a rubber type of hose likely braided and rated for the heat and exhaust temps seen under a street driven car does a fuel line need to be PTFE lined to be safe in this application ?

Put a meter on it and compare the difference in resistance if there is any difference that's where the hot spot will be. Ford Starters can draw 250 amps in good condition.
