With any aftermarket head you'd better go thru them to make sure the machine work is done right. Remember these are production assembly line parts and you wouldn't believe the screw ups you'll find. As with anything parts are punched out like bottle caps to make a quick buck so I'd have reputable machine shop carefully go thru them..............

I'd save the crankshaft out of this block.They are steel and the only machine work you have to do is on the "snout" for an FE balancer to fit. With all this chinese junk floating around it would be worth the investment to have the crank machined."American steel"  can't be beat.
