I installed a Tremec Magnum 6-speed behind a warmed over 390 in my pickup, Woodstock.  It now has the 500 miles on it for break in and time for the fluid change.  The recommended fluid is either GM Syncromesh or Pennzoil Syncromesh.  From what I have read, they are the exact same except for price.  There is also a Castrol brand available and perhaps others.  Any recommendations from you guys?

I understand.  I have a friend from Ft Worth that moved to New Brighton, near St Paul about a year ago.  He tells me you only have a couple of seasons up there, Winter and Road Construction 

Jay, I have talked to them every week since July.  One of the last conversations we had I told them I understood I owned an an engine that hadn't been produced in 40 years but they offered it and discredit.
