That is a gem, for sure.  They are such beautiful cars...  ;)

I had a '67 with 390, the guy sold it to me for $500 rather than try to replace the driver's side motor mount. A pint of blood and pound of flesh later I understood why.  :(

And, changing the spark plugs is an all-day job..  :'(

Woo-hoo!!  Things are progressing, although it's amazing how parts can disappear when they've been sitting for 5+ years.  :-\ Thank God for LMC and Dennis Carpenter.

I have a pic of it sitting outside the shop, relatively complete, and a short video of it sitting there rumbling, but I can't remember how to post them.  Can somebody help?

I already have the 4-bolt block from my '73 Mach 1.  ;D

:-\ Amazing how life intrudes on our plans...  Anyway, almost 6 years(!!) later, we're back on track; the F100's at a local shop for finishing.  I'm trying desperately to find some pics of the progress so far, but, for the life of me, I can't.

I'll try to actually get it finished this time.  :D

I think this is first I've been here in about 5 years!!  Life, work, health conspires against you sometimes.  :o

Looking at doing a stroked 351C (3.75" crank; 6.00" rods) for my pickup and am curious about what you all think about the aluminum "2V/4V" heads, primarily Trick Flow and Edelbrock, that are out there.

Thanks!!

I wonder how many FAA regulations they'd violate if that were in U.S. airspace...  ???

They'll have a class of their own, since the Bowtie guys cry too much when they get stomped, I guess...  :'(

And they kicked Kaase's Y-block monster out of the Vintage class..   ???

Not to hijack this thread but while we are on this subject ( the exact reason I logged on here today ) but I am looking for a cam too. 1967 f100.My engine is a 352 . just bought headers 2.5 exhaust will go behind it , street master intake , bought some heads that  were just  done C7AE-A 's no port work  yet, 3spd on column and 3.7? Gears .
I won't be bracket racing it but want it to run good light to light and have a lopey idle . what do y'all recommend ?
Comp 268 is what you want.  We've done them in everything from 289's to 460's, and, like others have mentioned, it's one of those 'old' designs that just works.  Should give you a good lope in that 352, and the 3-speed/decent gears should make it a good driver.

Jay, since you're fixing things, and your shop is already a mess, I got this Chinese go-kart for my niece a couple years ago that has a Chinese/Honda clone engine in it that ran for a while then made a loud 'clank' and shut off - can I ship it up there for you to work on in your spare time?    ;D

Holy cow!!
Your persistence and resilience never ceases to amaze me!!
I'm sitting here whining internally because I have to replace an intake gasket on my SBF tonight in my nice, well lit, dry garage, and Jay's out there in the middle of nowhere tearing his car apart (while taking pictures of things, and going through his inventory of spares) in a rainstorm..  :-[
Then he goes and runs 9.0's...
I feel so inadequate..  :-[
