Is the MSD Blaster "2F" coil still available? I'm not having any luck finding one.

I meet up with the folks from the FYI Ford MustangSteve Forum for the annual Bash. This year will be in Bakersfield CA on October 12th. I have the prvilege of providing the trophy.

I was looking for a piston back in June and HBStang was able to set me up. Here is the finished product.

It’s a factory Boss 429 piston with the part number showing. We also have a transmission input shaft and slider, wheel bearing races ,and a couple of valves from a small block Ford. The only parts that cost money out of my pocket are the 2 spark plugs. They came from Walmart closeout sale in the mid 90’s that I have never used!! The trophy plate does rotate on the race of the input shaft bearing.

Thank you to HBStang, Glen Buzek, Steve Buzek, Steve Wilkes, and Jeff Towman for the parts donations and Steve Buzek for the welding.

The trophy is in the mail headed to the Bakersfield for the Bash. Can’t wait to see everyone.

Someone will be going home with a cool trophy so I hope yall have been practicing.

For you guys on the west coast, it sure would be great to meet in person if you have some time.

Hey Folks,
I need to build a trophy for later this year to be given away at the spark plug changing contest at the Mustang Steve Bash in Bakersfield. Does anyone have a used SOHC piston they could offer to the cause for a really really cheap price plus shipping? A wrist pin would be great to have as well.

Your broke and have to make ends meet you learn to fix stuff pretty quick.....

I lived this for a while, leaned on my elders and any one that appeared halfway knowledgeable for what I needed. At some point I figured out it was broke and nothing I could do would make it any worse..... makes it a lot easier to disassemble something I know nothing about. Somethings got fixed, some got tossed!!

when you need something, you don't always have the luxury of waiting. I used to make the rounds trying to find the parts and have resorted to online searches of the nearby parts houses since it's faster. If they have it great, I can call to get it ordered. Or have it sent to the house.

With all the makes and models of cars on the market, I doubt there will ever be a person that can know all /be all to the parts market.... if they can, I'm sure they will have some oddities or quirks of their own. I bet they wouldn't have much of a social life either.

Cost of part + shipping. If you see something you like but not the price, make me an offer.

Set of 16 adjustable rocker arms. They should be considered cores for rebuilding. Brand is unknown. Bores measured .844 or bigger. Some of the pads show wear. They do have the Crane adjuster screws and jam nuts.  $90.00

Tunnel Tote Console for Mustang in 65-66 Parchment color made by TMI. $75.00

Ford FE timing chain. Came on remanufactured long block. No run time. I do not know the brand. The S321 on the cam sprocket show up in the pictures on Rockauto for a Melling standard duty timimng chain.  $10.00

Holley Blue Fuel pump that’s been sitting in my tool box for years. I used it in the early 90’s for pumping water into a camper a few times a week over the course of 6-8 months. Never for gas. Motor runs and I would recommend a rebuild kit. $50.00

Sold items will be deleted. Thanks for looking
