FE Technical Forum / Re: throttle body vs carbureted CFM?

The progressive Tripower set up on my car works a treat 3 x 600 cfm throttle bodies . Has great throttle response and hang on when all 3 are open .

Love the sound of a strong Fe listening to the exhaust pulses and walking past feeling the pulses . Custom headers 3inch stainless with X pipe 4 custom stainless mufflers straight through with stainless wool packing . Best sounding car I have heard lately is the gold 427 67 mustang with Holman Moody signage on it .

Jay ,  lock your doors ,it's good when parts go to the right person ,you here so many stories of good parts being dumped .

I have had a Fast 2 system on my 433 FE with Tri Power fuel injection , it has been  up and running for 5 months it has been faultless . No doubt it is not a cheap setup to start with but the overall look is very impressive and the driving of it is bloody unreal . Very smooth in its operation and delivers the goods at WOT .

FE Technical Forum / Re: Aluminum Radiators & Electric Fans
« on: October 20, 2013, 07:47:08 PM »
I have just finished going through this whole process I used a AFCO dual pass which fitted between the rails I had to trim the radiator support purchased a Taurus fan as there was nothing available here in Australia that could match its airflow .We made a custom schroud ,the fan is controlled by the ECU on at 190 . With our high temperatures here at the moment it copes well while cruising on highway temps sit at 180 only in traffic does the fan come on and will cycle .

Car is now up and running it has gone through all the engineering certificates and road worthy certificates that are required over here to register a modified vehicle  . I am very pleased with the end result I don't have to tell you guys but this thing  sounds wicked and performance is quite scary ,once the outer throttle bodies open all hell breaks loose .

Picked up a oil cooler for the power steering and have fitted up the aircon condensor .A good weekend getting closer to firing it up .
