I will give you a few facts about the 406. First the intake has been welded on the right front. It looks like a good weld, the guy i bought it from was running  it so it should be ok. The best part about it is the standard bore. I was just going to hone, rering it and run it. Some one polished the sides of the rods and did some port work on the heads, just a basic cleanup & polish. The crank is a nice 390 unit that has been balanced to the pistons & rods. Also the block has been decked about .010 thou.     Thanks  Wes

I have decided to sell my 406 tri-power. I have to many projects that are not getting done.    The engine is apart and needs some work before it can be put back together.  Block #C2AE-J std.bore. I have new rod & main bgs. and piston rings too.   $2500.00 My shop # 605-835-9429 So.Central So.Dak. I am building a 390 with a Dyers 8-71 blower. I have the Blue Thunder intake with the 2.5" spacer. I need to know if the MSD Pro-Billet dist. #8594 will clear the blower? I have a stock points dist. in now and I have 3/4 in. clearance, with out any plug wires on it.  Thanks Wes
