The 64 and 65 big spline TL where big in little out only, wasn't until 66 until you actually see a real big in big out.

Again probably not what you want to hear, but i had one awhile back that was stuck at the block under the intake. I ruined the distributor getting it out. It was a cheap one so no biggie but looking back i should have cut the oil pump drive and pulled it up with the intake , i believe that would have worked. Bad part is there is no way to access where they sick at inside the engine , so it makes it tough to spray or heat etc.

I think the 3x2 version is all thats available now which would be like the fa48. The fa 47 and 46 have been out for along time and as of now no one is making any. I think Mike Brunson is making some new ones , but not sure how long out he is. There is a fa47 on ebay now for $300. The dual quad version is the taller version and the fa 48 is not correct.

« on: May 02, 2023, 07:45:47 AM »I've also bought parts from him - good stuff. Ran a teardrop scoop from them for several years. Good question about the business - wonder if it will continue. Trying to remember if the gal that answered the phone was his wife. Could be rather gruff some days LOL. Web site says he died of a massive stroke and they will re-open on 5/3/23 so looks like they will be keeping the doors open.
I think the gruff lady was his daughter, i think they also made a change and finally removed her.
