Thanks, Randy. I'll see what I can find.  Finding info on these old pistons is tough.

Does anyone have a part# for SpiroLox or clips for TRW pistons? I'm guessing they are factory size locks. I just don't have a set of pistons in front of me to measure the clip groove. Thanks.

I have cut and welded pitman arms in the past. I will drill and pin the center of the arm, V it out and triple pass it. Let it cool naturally.

I figured the intake would need the normal out of the box work to make fit. I'm going to do a little more digging and research before I pull the trigger on this one. Price wise it seems about right for everything that you get with it.

I know there have been a couple topics in the past about this set up. Does anyone experience and some miles on this EFI set up? I'm building a 406 for my '86 F-150 that I daily drive in the summer. The truck was originally a 351 with a carb. I've been running the truck now with a tired old 352 that I put in last spring. The truck has dual tanks so I would like to use the Edelbrock EFI sump that mounts under the hood and uses your low pressure mechanical pump. Any input is appreciated..

I've had good success with Edge converters. Don't hold back on any info when you call them. Dyno sheets always help that way your not guessing at what your power is. Had a friend order a converter and he "over estimated" his power and lets just say the results were not what he was hoping for.

I've been sitting on these for years waiting for the "right" opportunity to use them. I don't have the heart to drill them and I just got another set of not so nice ones I don't mind drilling. $275 plus shipping from 13132.

Came out of a donor truck engine I bought. Definitely needs a good bath. A couple of the plastic clips on the plugs are broken. I'm unsure if the module or the pickup still work or not. $50 plus shipping from 13132. Fred.

My shop is a 40' x 40' metal Quonset hut that was on the property when I bought my house. 8 inches of concrete and 200 amp service. the 2 vertical wall ends I have studded with 2"x 6" lumber and insulated with R19. The round portion of the Hut I'm insulating with 1" thick foam board the bends to the contour. Using 5/16" coupler nuts and short bolts with fender washers to hold the insulation in place. HVAC tape over the seams. My shop is heated and has no issues with sweating. I plan on adding onto the building in the future. I will do a concrete pad, 3 courses of 10" block and 2"x 6" walls on top of that. Stud walls are easier to insulate and makes hanging stuff on the walls a lot easier than a metal building. You can cut, grind and weld all you want with OSB walls. I usually hang out for a half hour or so after any hot work before I shut the shop down.

I put a Powermaster in my Galaxie after going through a few factory starters. Nice and light and compact. I don't have to drop the Idler arm or any of the header tubes. I just got done playing the car shuffle in my shop last night. The weather in Upstate NY is getting ready to take a turn.

I'll guess in bone stock trim 203hp. With the BT and 650 i'll say 226hp.

I took a '66 352 4 barrel engine that was sitting under a tractor trailer for who knows how long and put it into a '86 F-150. Points, plugs and a 650 holley. Let's just say it wont spin the 235 tires on the long box F-150 with 3.55 gears. She's a slug, Big time! I've always had a soft spot for the 352, I'll be watching this one closely.

When I check for end play I install all the upper bearings, lube, install the crank, torque down the thrust cap with the lower shell in and check end play. Adjust if needed. I will install all other caps and bearings without the seal to make sure the crank spins freely. Then tear it back apart and install the seal.

Out of my price range but way cool stuff! I'm interested to know what kind of power it was making when the block gave up.
