I have a set  of original 427  MR  pistons  complete with pins C5AE 6110 -AU   10000 miles  of wear, no issues. Converted the block to a 454 stroker  and these have been on the shelf for a few years .

Original equipment  1967 Mustang 12 pin  tach dash cluster including wiring and brushed aluminum bezel.   It is missing the clock in the middle of the assembly All other guages   are included.

Wiring  loom  including  lights is for the back  of the cluster only.  Under dash harness and engine compt harness are available through nationwide venders.

In a 68 FB  with factory  tach,  i recently replaced the points  with the petronix electric sensor set.  Started and runs fine  EXCEPT   the

tach reads zero  rpm  at idle (normally 750)  and progresses normally as I step on it  but does not appear to recapture  the innitial lost

rpm.

Apparently the petronis  is getting its feed from another source.

Has anyone else evperienced this?

Any  reasonably simple fix?

I have never  in over 10 years  had that pump off the car  or disassembled.  When  I pulled the plate  to look for  the leak  , There  was no gasket!!.

Hi Guys

HAs anyone had  one of these pumps  start shooting  gas out of the side of the bottom plate?  Pump  is about 10 years old ,never a problem before. Drove the car as recently as last thanksgiving.   I use only  non ethanol gas and some race gas  mixed in  from local raceway in  in eastern Colorado.

I pulled the bottom plate  to check the gasket  but there is no evidence  that it ever had a gasket at that plate.  inside is a rubber diaphram  a bit larger than an accelerator pump membrane.   Maybe that is just worn out.

Pls advise if you have any ideas.

I  live  in Centennial very close to I 25  and Arapahoe  road.  Could meet at Blue Oval Auto,  Rods shop on Santa FE  and Belleview.
 
I have  some new  FE rocker shafts  and  a  set of used roller rockers, a set of Isky adjustable rocker arms.  Also have a  super cobra jet

 harmonic balancer but I need $400.00 for that item.  Will look around  for some other parts
