OK, decided to pass this one on, just have too many. Great starter kit for a 427 Fairlane wagon, pretty solid body, manual trans so it has a clutch pedal. seat upholstery and headliner have been replaced. Runs and currently registered, clean title in my name, original CA black plates. Centerlines go with it for this price. Has original 200-6 and treeonnatree. $5500

The good thing is, those flares are just stuck on the outside, the original lip is underneath. The 57 they had had the wheelwells cut. And it IS right out of the 60's-70's lol

Just followed me home- my old Cobra buddies from the 70's bought it for the correct for a gennie Cobra 427 that was in it, and I got the rest. Too easy, I even have the same type toploader that was in it. Straight axle, fenderwell headers and a 9"- and the left the 8K Dixco tach and 66 Corvette steering wheel in it- serious Cobra boys lol. Possibilities...

I have a few sets, including a set on a complete 65 352-4V. Might work OK, as I still have that set of heads that we talked about working on- we can talk

As a pure research mission, I once tried the 4300 off my 70 Mach1's 351C-4V on the 427 that was in my offroad 77 F250 Highboy, flattops, CJ heads, Street Dominator, 291/541 cam, and it would pass a sniffer test at stock specs for the truck's 351M. On the stock Mustang 351C-4V, it was way under specs, very clean

I have always wondered why my Dove hi risers were filled at the top, story was it was done on purpose by one of the "bigs", flowed 385, made 785 hp on a 505, and ran high 9's in a Comet. They are cut for T&D's, and came with special head studs for them, and the material left after the T&D cut is very thin, with epoxy fill below, seeming to lower the roof- doesn't make sense to me, other than trying to get a gasket seal, but I would think one could seal it up against the T&D plate at the top? I recently picked up a set of T&Ds but haven't had time to set the plates on the heads for a looksee. Haven't looked at them in a while, maybe they need to go visit the Capt for a looksee/ rethink. They were run on methanol, and looks like the "right" dumdum for meth was not used, as some has eroded anyway. Plan was to run them with my 2-5/8 Kinsler 351C sprint car injectors with a custom-fit Jay-plate when the ports are finished

Thanks- yep, trying to get a handle on them, "Image is a representation of this item.
Actual item may vary." lol..  Appears to show a groove machined near the bottom, is that how they work, spit a bit of oil from the groove? No actual pressure feed like an EDM hole? or is the picture wrong? They are not that much more expensive than the std ones
