... I hope we all have clear skies for the event!

We are going in the camper. So we can be very flexible as to our location. That way,  I can watch the weather radar, and avoid areas with a chance of clouds and rain.

The wife and I are planning to go see it in Nebraska :)

If you drop in a cammer, I'll drive it for you Royce! (I have my NHRA licence, but I would want to inspect that hose clamp thingy) THat picture with you and JC is great.
I saw you on the live feed at the Meltdown. I was happy and surprised.  You aren't kidding about the non-stop oil downs. I burned thru more bandwidth on a empty track than on racing.  Byron raceway was like a Kavorikian machine for scrubs.

Sounded and looked pretty good. I'll admit to being a closet fan of some of the '60s Mopar stuff. A friend in highschool had a '68 383 Roadrunner that I loved. He traded that for a '69 Challenger that he stuck a 440 in and stuffed some 2.75 gears in. That car was scary as hell! It wasn't bad till he'd hit about 150, then you started getting visions of the afterlife. Both were 3 pedal cars.

When I was 16  had to go to driver dumdum school because of tickets. There was guy I knew from sunday school there, his name was howard. He got busted for 150 mph on highway 100 in a GTX.

Send Max my well wishes, I hope it works out good. Question: is the area of his spine that is screwed to a rod now rigid, or does this rig somehow allow normal movement?

It's a peice of cake. Just run a jumper wire from 12v+ to the small red wire on the msd, jump the solenoid and voila! It starts!

Check to make sure that the springs, hangers, and shackles aren't bent.

Lenz,
just about nothing drones worse than a flowturdmaster.  I can't comment on the Borla, but I've had flowturdmasters, the flowturdmaster deltaturd,  and all the other mufflers I will comment on.

Any glass pack will sound good, but LOUD.

THe spintecks I had just sounded crappy all the time.

THe Dynomax ultraflow SS is the choice for power, quiet idle, lots of bark at WOT, some drone at highway cruise, but not nearly as bad as a flowturdmaster.

Next is the Dynomax Super Turbo. (or probably any similarly built turbo muffler) More restrictive than the Ultraflow, but nice muffled sound at idle, but still lets you know it's a hot rod, reasonably quiet at WOT, and just a little drone on the highway.

Then you have a Hemi muffler. Very similar to a turbo muff, except no drone, and less restrictive.

Last is the quiet-flow. Very restrictive, but OEM cadillac quiet. When I was daily driving my 500 inch Elcamino, I wanted to hear the radio, have conversations, make business call on the cell. THis was the only muffler of the several I tried that was really quiet behind that hotrod mill.

Here is my Ultraflow SS's at WOT from outside the car:

Here is some cruising around with Ultraflow SS's: (no carpet padding or sound deadener, 735 horse hemi, 2.5" from the manifolds to the rear bumper)

I like them.

Nice score, congrats! It needs some nice shiney chrome wheels to dress it up. :-*

I've got a 66 F100 352 4 speed that I've had for 28 years. I put chrome rangers on it and a chrome front bumper and it really improved the looks .

How about "Super Duper Cobra Jet"?    ;D

Or maybe  "High as a Kite Riser", or go all out with "Swat Team Interceptor".  8)

Or give it an international appeal with "Chunnel Port"  :o

Slow day at the office, Hemi Joel?

Just trying to be helpful... :)
