I guess I can see that I was thinking about those hit and miss motors the bigger the flywheel the more it could work or pump or whatever you were using it for that makes sense autoholic

What is the reasoning with the heavier balancer for the long stroke you would almost think you would want it lighter so it would rev faster or are you looking for more power after it alredy gets goin

I have used like four cams in my 427 never had to worry about wiping out a lobe that was 15 years ago. now you have to leave inner springs out use breakin oil and stand on your head. with all of the advancements made it seems like the cams are worse. Hey who knows maybe I got lucky all those times. With that being said I am going to do all the things that I have to do so it doesnt happen. Thats why I was worried about the cam lube from comp

About to put intake on and going to lube cam with what it cam with which from the 5/8 oz packet it seems thin I remember the black cam lube that was like brake grease . If I don't get to start it for a week or two I feel it will just drip off, is that not the case. It is a solid cam I will be using brad penn breaking oil but is there a better cam lube something with a little more substance or use the comp cams lube that it came with

I agree about the price. I have 4.11 with a 26 inch tire so it screams on the parkway that gear ever would be perfect. I would also eventually like to go to a c-4 I was under the impression that it takes a lot less horsepower to spin the c-4 instead of my c-6

What's up guys was working for my old shop today timing belt 2.5 GT Subaru . Painted the compartment lik three months ago but was still a little chilly paint checked in a couple of spots Boy was I pissed. I used regular krylon satin black the first time then I used VHT high temp chassis paint satin looks nice right a little richer black. And before putting motor in this way I used to lay them in there and bolt them up as I lowered motor probably 2 1/2 hours . Thanks for letting me in on the whole header thing guys
