FE Technical Forum / Re: Need Advice on Fox Body FE Project

"I'm looking for an inexpensive car. "

LOLOLOLOLOL....  Every Fox around here is 10~12K+ if it's not tore up.  Unless it's set up for small tire/no prep then that one is 90K.  It's damn stupid.  It'd be likely cheaper here to buy a 2017~18 with a 5.0 and just work on the Coyote.  If one didn't know better and only had Hemmings listings as a reference, you'd think Ford made nothing but convertibles.
it is hard to find a cheap fox, unless someone is desperate,or someone who just wants you to have it-doing you a favor,is probably the only way you will get a good body at a good price.

thanks for the replies.Doug,i dont want to pull the engine.hooker headers all the little stuff like alt, rad,etc is alot more hassle to me.i have an electric fan.i guess i will try dropping the pan with the engine up an inch or two.i have jacked up the engine before to get the  headers in.i dont think the headers will hit, bell will only go up so far.

if i drop the pump will my shaft drop or will it stay in place?maybe i could just unhook the pickup? i have never fooled with a oil pump.im not a short block man even though i have changed heads, intakes, headers, etc. many times over the last 40 years.but i have never put my short blocks together.i always had the machine shop assemble them.
