Can anyone explain why would a block be sleeved straight through with out leaving a step at the top or bottom of the cylinder? Have a 391 CX scratch ft block that has three of them in it . Was pulled out of a 72 f600 that still had the remanufactured tag on it. Is there any way to fix it other than pinning the sleeves?

Can I use standard length ball / cup pushrods with the OEM adj rockers on a .500 lift hyd flat tappet cam and lifters ? Will the comp cams 7530 push rod be okay or should I just plan on getting custom pushrods?

Has any one on here used a lunchbox style locker n there fe ride ? If so, how well did they hold up for street/strip use? I am debating on whether to use one for my F100 instead of a limited slip. I realize that a Detroit would be better,but they are a bit out of my price range right now .

Looking for opinions on the tfs intake vs the Edelbrock rpm  for a 449  street/strip truck. 3500 stall 4.30 gear. 850 demon
BBM heads 2.20/1.68 valves . 10.5-1 compr. Cam is 249/253@.050 .611/.618 lift
