I haven't looked too awfully hard, but I haven't found a bolt-on piston stop that would reach from one head bolt hole to the other on a Ford.
I'm making these out of aluminum, they will be black hard anodized, and will come with all necessary hardware, including a center set screw with jam nut and (2) 1/2-13 bolts and washers for clamping.
These will work with FE's, SBF's, and 385 series engines.
Price would be $29 each plus shipping.

Mark me down for one.
-
I would like to purchase one also then I can pitch my length of ½" square steel bar stock.
-
Summit lists one that spans 6.25" for $12.99. I haven't measured the bolt spacing, but if that works, that price is hard to compete with. Joe-JDC

Joe, FE's/385 series engines are a tick over 6.500", plus the 385 engines have 9/16" diameter head bolt holes.
-
will they have your name on them , if so , I would like one , just to have a part from one of the legends on here . thanks , Ronnie

Maybe anodized Blue, then your logo machined?
-
Put me down for one.

I have a piece of 1"x2" hard oak with holes drilled in the right spots, and a big rounded bolt in the middle as a stop. Cost was about 20 minutes of work. If the piston has a dome, then a few washers work. If you're bending a piece of 1" oak while hitting the stop, you need to stop taking steroids, or wait until the wife isn't nagging you...lol
-
I'll buy one also.

Yep. Shoot me an email. brent@lykinsmotorsports.com
-
Got 5 of these left.
-
Used one this week, very handy and well made. Thanks!
-
I bought one of these.
If I can make one suggestion, put a 1/2" threaded hole on either side of the set screw to store the bolts and washers. I plan on doing this to mine. Those little short bolts are easy to loose when you don't use it very often.

Have any left Brent?
Thanks
