Title: 2d Elect Oil Pressure guage
Post by: MHarvey on November 10, 2018, 02:18:07 AM
How would I install a second oil pressure gauge...I believe just connecting a second gauge to the same sensor will provided a reduced reading...but where would I install the second sensor?

In the past, I have always just used a brass Tee fitting on the oil filter adapter, so I could retain my factory oil pressure gauge or idiot light, as well as an aftermarket mechanical gauge. Worked just fine.

be carefull with the brass Tee fitting, the cheap ones are cut to thin and will break off at the threads .

^^This.

I had one crack/break on the wagon many years ago.  I ran a low pressure switch to my fuel pump.  It cracked, leaked and I have to do surgery on it on a Sat at the track.  Never did reinstall that switch.

You should be able to find a steel tee to use, instead of brass. NAPA stores typically have a selection of steel fittings.
